about us

We are a small, family firm that has been established over 37 years, run by father and son with a combined experience exceeding 85 years and assisted by an office manager who has been with the company over 30 years.

A large percentage of our work is obtained as a direct result of past customer recommendations.  We insist on using only the finest quality materials and tools, and are one of the few monumental masonry firms in the North-West who refuse to engage the services of sub-contractors.  We strongly believe the only way to maintain our long-established standard of excellence is to execute all our own work.  By doing so we provide our valued clients with a truly worthy tribute, which will help perpetuate cherished memories of their loved ones and bring peace of mind for many, many years.

We understand choosing a memorial can be a really upsetting experience.  Therefore, we extend a professional, caring and compassionate service to our clients.  As a memorial is normally only purchased and erected to someone’s memory once, we firmly believe it is imperative the material, shape, design, wording and overall workmanship of that memorial is executed to the highest standard.

After suffering the loss of a loved one, nothing is more heartbreaking for relatives than to see the memorial of their choice badly masoned and/or lettered.  After all, once erected, a memorial commemorates a life once lived and therefore stands to represent a very special piece of history.

Materials, finishes, shapes and ornamentations can be easily interchanged on most memorials or, if preferred, a memorial can be supplied without any ornamentation at all.

A guarantee covers the soundness of the memorial’s natural materials and in accordance with current Health and Safety requirements a Certificate of Compliance is issued to every customer who purchases a new lawn memorial.

Additionally, we offer porcelain photo-ceramics, created by artists trained to the highest possible standards in their craft, and sundry items such as flower containers.

We also provide ancillary services such as additional inscriptions; memorial safety work and are specialists in maintenance and renovation of memorials with proven experience of restoring memorials back to their original condition.

We are proud to be full retail members of the National Association of Memorial Masons and on the Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers.

Areas covered include: Leigh; Atherton; Tyldesley; Howe Bridge; Newchurch; Croft; Winwick; Lowton; Golborne; Wigan and its surrounding area and Bolton and its surrounding area.
